The full story...

This project was for customers we had previously worked with designing and installing their kitchen and bedrooms in their large Loughton home. The new project was for the new home as they had both retired and wanted to move closer to their children and grandchildren. They bought a beautiful house in rural Essex but it needed gutting and totally remodelling.

Our work was to design the new kitchen and the three bedrooms. The concept of the kitchen was to be two-tone in light and graphite grey. The style was a modern version of the shaker look. The kitchen was designed using a broken plan style (an emerging design concept where spaces are left between units rather than all joined into a corner). The island was designed so that the couple could enjoy morning breakfasts and evening meals looking down to their much loved garden.

The defining design features were the 60mm White Venato solid stone worktops and the contrasting charcoal grey glass splashbacks. It all gelled together win a complete and harmonious look. The new bedrooms looked fab as well.
