These customers came to us by recommendation. They were having an extension which gave them space to have a new and, by comparison, much larger kitchen. The available space dictated the shape with a peninsular with an overhang for casual seating or chatting over a glass of wine. They had a very young boy and wanted somewhere where he could have his meals when he was of an age to do so.
Using the less is more design philosophy we created a very striking back wall with low height units in a high gloss grey with feature oakgrain display units that formed part of the visual display and striking look. It would have been easy to fill the wall with loads of cabinets but it would have normalised the look to become just ordinary and very samey. Having spent the money on an extension to create more space, we wanted to help retain that both physically and visually.
